1. Over the knee boots. Sexy and hot in any colour - but we will see these beauties in solids but also mixed textures and colours.
2. Black and Maroon. Booties, Equestrian boots, heels and with zipper and buckle detailing, too. This is a hot colour combo.

3. Pointy toe booties. Perfect with pant, skirts, jeans and really anything...the pointy toe is back!! I love it because for us 'vertically challenged' ladies it gives us length.
4. Pointy yet flat boots. this was a hot look from Derek Lam's runway show. Comfy but still sexy

5. Leopard print. Flats, booties and pumps. For me this is a neutral and a must-have in every show wardrobe. Lace up booties in leopard were talked about at the DKNY show
6. Ankle strap heels. a bit of a vintage nod especially if it has a rounded toe. A bit more of a day time look with a lady like suit or a pencil skirt and a sexy silk blouse.
7. Girly and bright heels. Thanks to Kate Spade for really making footwear fun this fall.

8. Stacked heels. If you find high heels a bit challenging this might be a better option for you if you don't want just flats. These were seen at the Philip Lim Show.

9. Buckles. they give a motorcycle or military spin on a basic (we are also seeing these in jackets and purses). Great on boots but smaller buckles on heels are hot!
10. Loafers. every fall we seen a return to menswear for women and we are seeing that in footwear too. We are seeing flat loafers and heeled loafers for women this season.

11. Booties with bang! Patterns, stripes or both on booties makes a bold statement but still can work in the right office with a basic outfit.

12. Animal influence. Not just leopard print but pony, fur and snakeskin were seen at the shows. I like snakeskin for a pointy pump to give an outfit a bit of edge.
13. Sneakers. Yes but I'm not talking about your gym shoes, keep those for workouts only. But a great casual sneaker for running around. Perfect for my busy moms!

14. Leather lace-up shoes. These were mostly in a tan colour and had a bit of a school boy influence - cute with boyfriend jeans and a cardi - it would be tough to dress these up.

15. Pointy-toe pumps. Not ground breaking but a classic in my books. Dress up, dress down, colours or neutrals - they are back!
16. Cap toe flats. Add a bit of bling with a metallic toe cap, great for the office and casual Friday.
17. Metallic. We are seeing metallic in a few unusual places like clothing and nails but metallic shoes are in too and various styles pumps, loafers and more.
18. Wedge boots with a more modern edge and less 'hippy chick'. Look for details like multi straps and darker colours.
