Fall 2013 Beauty Trends Right from the Runway

So the runways were full of great beauty trends that can easily be translated into everyday.  Even busy moms like myself want to look like they are in touch with what is happening especially when you get out for a special event.  Take a look at these ht fall trends in beauty.

1 - Smokey eye with a twist.  Try using purples like a raspberry and apply some of the 'smoke' to the lower lash line - Night time look only.  Very rock'n'roll sexy!


2 - Cinnamon colour lips.  Very classy in a modern way.  Try Nars lip pencil in Kenya.  Keep the rest of the face fresh and clean. The lips are the showstopper with this look



3 - No make up? Don't be scared, the look is totally natural without being au naturel.  Make it look like you are without - clear skin, no eye makeup except some mascara, nude lip colour and basic cheek - nothing over the top.  This is a perfect day to day look.

5 - Metallic swirl nails.  Metallic nails are huge and in my opinion a great neutral day or night.  To get this look: apply various Essie metallic in small dots, start with the darkest shade first and then with a small paint brush swirl and then add topcoat and sit and let dry.



6 - Lady-like hair.  Think 1940's,  and off of the face....sleek hair rolls tightly coiled and close to the head.  This looks great with lashes and red lips.

 

7 - Glitter nails but subtle.  A clear coat of polish on short nails with a smattering of glitter close to the tip.

9 - Braids with Edge.  Simple braids get a rockstar edge with knots and slightly undone. Make them less tight and more whimsical.
