I love this recipe and it is a favourite with my family

Ingredients:
- 2 cups of flour
- 1/2 tsp of baking soda
- 1/2 tsp of salt
- 3/4 cup of unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup of packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup of white sugar
- 1 tbsp of vanilla
- 1 egg
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 cups of semisweet chocolate chips
1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets or line with parchment paper
2. Sift together the flour, baking soda and salt, set aside.
3. In another medium bowl, cream together the melted butter and sugars until well blended. Beat in the vanilla, egg and egg yolk until creamy.
4. Mix the wet and dry ingredients together with a wooden spoon and add the chocolate chips
5. Roll cookie dough into balls approx. 1 inch in size and set on cookie sheet about 2-3 inches apart
6. Bake in preheated over for 15-17 minutes or until edges are slightly golden. Let cool completely and enjoy!
* You can easily swap out the chocolate chips for toffee chips, mint chocolate chips, white chocolate chips or peanut butter chips or a combination of any of the mentioned. I recently mixed peanut butter chips with chocolate chips and everyone loved them!
